Hi, and welcome back to my little pocket of the internet. I was working on a script for an upcoming video and remembered that this blog exists kind of out of the blue. I popped open the editor for the website and found a bunch of non-sequitur posts that really didn't have much to do with me or with the lachuger so I decided to go ahead with a quick scorched earth erasure of the blog and start from scratch.
So here we go again. My name is Liam and I'm the founder, script supervisor, and managing editor of all things lachuger. Outside of lachuger, I'm a full-time member of the working class and use my free time to work on videos both for lachuger as well as other YouTube channels, play video games, and make music.
As far as future lachuger projects are concerned: both Andrew and myself have decided that we really wanted to focus on quality over quantity which is why this upcoming main channel video has taken so long to make. After "twitter is dead", I wanted to focus on a desk video that would stand out a little bit more so I've been brainstorming, workshopping, and writing scripts, but nothing has really clicked until very recently.
Regarding the rest of the future with lachuger, as previously mentioned, we're going to be sticking to less frequent uploads on the main channel and try to make the wait worth it. I have also made the executive decision and will here and now vow that not a single update video will ever hit any of the lachuger channels ever again.
For the past year 2 years the "lachuger radio" podcast has been on hiatus and will indefinitely continue to be on hiatus until we can decide that rebooting the podcast is in our collective best interest. I think that I can speak on behalf of both Andrew and RJ when I say that we recognize that the things that make podcasts interesting and enjoyable is the entertainment throughout the stories in every episode and as entertainers ourselves we don't have stories interesting enough to make every episode interesting, nor do we yet have the skill to discuss things on the fly in an engaging manner. With that in mind, any longform interviews and less frequent discussions in a review setting may come to replace what the podcast currently is. For now the podcast will remain in it's weird incomplete state as is in case anyone cares to go back and listen to an episode they liked.
lachugerLIVE will soon return to gaming content. The current plans for streaming are up in the air pending a serious discussion with everyone involved, but I feel like I can say with some certainty that lachuger will never return to daily or even 3-a-week streams. As for Let's Play content for lachugerLIVE, we're hoping to find a game that's conducive to our playstyle, comedic tendencies, and general enjoyment to relaunch the Let's Play content with.
Finally this blog known formally as "liam's corner" is going to be renamed to "the corner". This blog will be updated probably just as regularly as the main channel, but I hope that in the future that it will serve as a place for discussion about videos, a place for corrections for video essays to be made, and a general update blog on the members of lachuger moving forward.
Until next time,
Liam S.
